Repeat Prescriptions

Patients who are prescribed regular prescriptions for a pre-diagnosed condition should
obtain repeat prescriptions as follows:

  1. You should mark the retained part of your script, identifying which medication you wish
repeated, and post it in the box near the main entrance at the ground floor reception area.
  2. You may post the pre-printed ‘repeat’ form from your prescription through the external
post slot at the front of St. Clements building.
  3. You may send the pre-printed ‘repeat’ form either by post or fax 01962 867776
  4. You may submit an electronic request via our:
Secure Online Repeat Prescription Ordering Form

St. Clements has introduced a new Online Prescription / Appointment Booking service. We aim to transfer to our new online service as soon as all patients have registered with the new service. Please register using this form (click to download) which must be handed to Reception with photographic ID, such as a passport or photo driving licence.

  1. Your local pharmacist may provide a collection service for repeat prescriptions.
On completion of a form at our Reception, prescriptions can be collected from the surgery
by a local Chemist, of your choice. Please ask the Receptionist for a form if you would like to take advantage of this service.

Please allow 5 working days for dispensing, from receipt of your request at the Surgery. For medico-legal reasons and to ensure patient safety, we do not accept prescription requests over the telephone*. The practice produces on average 300 repeat prescriptions per day. This number increases prior to public holidays. If patients telephone regarding their prescriptions, those in urgent need to speak to a doctor or a nurse may have difficulty getting through.

Please use the other means of requesting your repeat prescription and plan in advance to allow this process to be undertaken in a clinically safe and timely way.

Please register via this link to provide the practice with useful feedback on our service delivery.
